John E. Canesi, D.M.D.

Dr Canesi is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston College where he received a Bachelor of Science degree  in Chemistry.  He attended Tufts University School Of Dental  Medicine.  After obtaining his dental degree, he completed a residency at Tufts New England Medical Center and  its affiliated institutions.   Since completing his residency he has maintained a multi-specialty practice in Boston's financial district.  Dr  Canesi is a member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society  He and his staff are committed to providing exemplary treatment in all phases of dentistry.


Anna Kitsos, D.M.D.

Dr. Kitsos attended The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She graduated in 1998 and continued with her general practice residency at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Hospital, which she completed in 1999. Practicing for over 13 years, she provides comprehensive restorative, esthetic, periodontal, and TMJ treatments.  A member of the American Dental Association and The Massachusetts Dental Society, she is committed to delivering the utmost care for patients to achieve ideal oral and dental health.



Ryan Canesi, D.M.D.

Dr. Ryan Canesi graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. While in college he volunteered in the dental clinic at the East Boston Community Health Center. It was there he discovered his passion for the field of dentistry.

Dr. Canesi earned his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he received an academic scholarship. He strives to provide quality dentistry in a caring manner utilizing the latest technologies. Dr. Canesi is committed to staying up to date on the most current techniques and treatments through continuing education. Dr. Canesi is a member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society.



Michael J. Cognata, D.M.D., M.M.Sc.

Dr. Cognata is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and the Harvard Forsyth Postdoctoral Orthodontic Residency. He has over 25 years experience in private practice providing orthodontic care for adults and children with the full spectrum of malocclusions and dentofacial problems. He also spent 25 years teaching part time at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine Department of Orthodontics where he was Director of Predoctoral Orthodontics and Clinical Instructor of Postdoctoral Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, The Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and past Secretary of the Harvard Society for the Advancement of Orthodontics. 



Yasmine Basseghi, D.M.D., C.A.G.S

Dr. Yasmine Basseghi is a graduate of Birmingham-South College where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology in 2004. She then attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2009. Following graduation, she completed a residency in the Advanced Specialty education program in General Dentistry at Boston University. Following that she completed her specialized training in Endodontics at Boston University in 2012 and is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Basseghi is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Endodontics at Tufts School of Dental Medicine and has a facility position at Boston University School of Dental Medicine as a Clinical Instructor.



Sam Shamardi D.M.D.

Dr. Sam Shamardi earned his DMD degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While at Tufts, Sam had the honor of being elected Class President for each of his 4 years. He trained for his Periodontal certificate at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Periodontal Program. During his training, he had extensive nonsurgical and surgical experience for procedures such as sinus lifts, implants, mucogingival surgery, crown lengthening, and guided bone and tissue regeneration. Additionally, the programs exposure to the unique Periodontal Prosthesis program has afforded him a unique understanding of the restorative aspect of the profession and the importance of proper treatment planning. Sam is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, the highest honor in his field and is a Clinical Professor at the Harvard University Periodontics Department.
